Build music apps with the Cline MCP Server
`identify_music_from_url` is the starting point when you tell Cline to build audio-tagging features. The agent writes the backend code, plugs in this tool, and tests the recognition logic with real audio files. Cline handles the full loop. It creates the API endpoints, writes unit tests for the audio parser, and verifies that the output matches the expected JSON structure.
Automated artist profiling in VS Code
`search_artists` allows Cline to generate rich profile pages for any musician on the fly. You ask the agent to build a sidebar component, and it pulls the correct artist data to populate the UI. It writes clean React or Vue code, imports the search results, and styles the layout. You get a working, data-filled component without writing a single line of boilerplate.
Direct ISRC metadata ingestion
`get_track_by_isrc` gives Cline the power to clean up messy music databases. The agent scans your local database, finds missing metadata, and queries this tool to fill in the blanks. It edits your database files directly and runs a git diff so you can review the changes. This MCP integration replaces hours of manual data entry with a single prompt.
