Build headless review triage pipelines with Claude Code

Claude Code lets you query store feedback using `list_reviews` directly from your shell. You can pipe this data into local scripts to flag critical bugs without opening a browser or an IDE. By calling `list_apps`, Claude Code identifies all your tracked apps and displays their status. It works entirely in the terminal, making it perfect for quick checks during SSH sessions.

Run automated sentiment checks in CI/CD workflows

You can script Claude Code to run sentiment checks using `list_topics` before deploying a new release. This Appbot MCP Server integration lets you query user sentiment to ensure your current production build is stable. If `list_versions` shows a spike in negative reviews for the latest release, your build script can trigger an alert. This keeps deployment decisions tied directly to real user experiences.

Extract custom topic reviews for terminal-based debugging

Claude Code queries `list_custom_topics` to find custom tags your support team created. It then uses `get_reviews_by_custom_topic` to output those specific reviews directly to stdout. You can parse these reviews with standard command-line tools like grep or jq. This lets you quickly isolate specific user complaints without leaving your terminal environment.

Common questions about Appbot MCP in Claude Code

Run the command `claude mcp add --transport http appbot-mcp -- ` in your terminal. You can verify the installation by running `claude mcp list` to see the active tools.
Yes, you can run Claude Code headlessly to fetch review data using `list_reviews`. It can parse sentiment scores and output them as JSON to feed other terminal utilities or alerting tools.
No, Claude Code operates entirely in the terminal and connects to the Vinkius endpoint via HTTP or SSE. It fetches data from `get_review_details` and other tools without needing any graphic interface.
You tell Claude Code to query `list_languages` to find valid language codes. It then passes those codes as filters when calling `list_reviews` to narrow down the terminal output.
Your Appbot account info and API keys are stored securely on Vinkius and never exposed in your CI/CD logs or environment variables. Claude Code only interacts with the sandboxed MCP endpoint, keeping your credentials safe from leaks.
