How to Use the Assertible MCP in Cursor
Generate code that passes Assertible API tests using Cursor agent mode to run live test suites.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Assertible MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Assertible to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Test live code changes using the Assertible MCP Server
`run_service_tests` executes your remote API assertions directly from the Cursor terminal interface. Your agent triggers the suite the moment you save a file. When an assertion fails, Cursor reads the error logs. Your agent then uses `run_specific_test` to pinpoint the failing route, helping you fix the exact line of code.
Sync OpenAPI specs directly from your codebase
`sync_specification` pushes your updated Swagger or OpenAPI files to Assertible as you write code in Cursor. Your agent detects changes in your schema files and updates Assertible automatically. This prevents your tests from drifting from your actual code. You maintain accurate API assertions without manual uploads or leaving your editor.
Validate JSON payloads inside Cursor editor files
`validate_json` checks your mock payloads against Draft 4 JSON schemas inside your active editor tabs. Your agent verifies your test data before you commit it. This tool processes validation checks directly in the editor, without requiring full MCP server authorization.
