Audit IAM logs via the Claude Code MCP Server

Terminal warriors hate switching to web dashboards for security checks. Now your command line handles identity auditing natively. Type a prompt asking for recent suspicious activity. The agent hits `get_audit_logs` and parses the JSON output instantly. It checks `get_security_settings` to see if password policies caused the flags. You get actionable security insights piped directly into your SSH session.

Manage users headlessly

Provisioning test accounts usually requires clunky curl scripts. Your AI client replaces those fragile bash commands entirely using the MCP Server. Tell the agent to spin up five developer profiles. It loops through `create_user` and assigns them to the correct sandbox. You can verify the batch by having it run `list_users` right after. The whole workflow happens headlessly without a single GUI interaction.

Map infrastructure states

Documenting tenant structures is a tedious chore for DevOps teams. Claude Code maps your entire IAM setup automatically. Ask it to output a markdown file of your current hierarchy. The agent fetches tenants using `list_organizations` and maps their clients via `list_applications`. It writes the exact configuration state to your local directory. You commit the documentation and get back to real work.

Common questions about Authing MCP in Claude Code

Run `claude mcp add --transport http authing -- `. Make sure all flags come before the server name. Use `claude mcp list` to verify the connection.
Yes. The agent runs headlessly in any CI/CD environment. You can script it to check logs or verify roles during your deployment jobs.
Not at all. The entire configuration and execution process happens in your terminal. You never need to open a web interface.
Every tool in the MCP Server functions perfectly via the CLI. You can list resources, fetch users, or read security settings using plain English prompts.
We process your `get_audit_logs` payloads through stateless memory buffers only. The connection relies on a strict zero-trust architecture. No audit data or user records are ever cached on Vinkius infrastructure.
