How to Use the Awattar MCP in Cursor
Inject live electricity market data into your code with Cursor. Stop mocking your energy prices and build against real feeds.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Awattar MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Awattar to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct market data access in Cursor
Use `get_market_data` to pull live EPEX Spot prices into your editor. The AI agent reads the current rates and writes the logic for your energy-saving scripts in real-time. Stop hardcoding price thresholds. Your code now reacts to the actual market state by querying the server directly during your coding session.
Generate YAML configs in the editor
Run `get_current_yaml` to format pricing data for your infrastructure code. This tool produces clean, valid YAML that you can inject into your deployment scripts with one click. Maintain your automation definitions without manual data entry. The AI handles the formatting, so you can focus on your control logic.
Agent-driven MCP server integration
Register this MCP server in your .cursor/mcp.json file to give your agent full access. Once configured, the AI sees the tools as part of its available skill set. Switch to Agent mode in your chat window and ask for current prices. The agent executes the tools and uses the output to write your next commit.
