How to Use the BigCommerce MCP in Cursor
Use real BigCommerce API responses to write code in Cursor that actually works with your store.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect BigCommerce MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect BigCommerce to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cursor agent fetches BigCommerce data
Stop mocking your store's API responses while you build features. Cursor calls `get_store_info` to get accurate site metadata for your development environment. Your agent uses these live responses to generate code that matches your actual store configuration. It saves you from debugging integration errors later.
Query BigCommerce products in Cursor
Your AI assistant can run `list_products` to pull your catalog into your current coding session. It lets you write logic that handles real product objects and attributes. Use `get_product` to fetch the exact JSON structure of any item. You build your storefront features against live data rather than guesswork.
Automate BigCommerce logic in Cursor
The editor can iterate through `list_orders` to test your backend processes. You get the actual order payloads delivered straight into your terminal or chat panel. This gives you a tight feedback loop. You write the code, the agent pulls the data, and you verify the output instantly.
