How to Use the BoxLock MCP in Cursor
Use Cursor to script your BoxLock security responses and automate physical access events.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect BoxLock MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect BoxLock to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate BoxLock within Cursor
Inject real-time data from `list_locks` directly into your code logic. Your agent can now monitor hardware status without you writing a single mock API response. Call `list_locations` to build automated workflows that context-aware agents can interpret. This links your physical geography to your code logic.
Audit BoxLock logs inside Cursor
Use `list_activities` to pull audit trails into your editor environment. You can parse these logs to detect delivery patterns or security anomalies immediately. Fetch current barcode configurations using `list_barcodes`. This lets your agent verify that the right carrier credentials are active before triggering any physical events.
Programmatic control of BoxLock via Cursor
Execute `press_to_open` as part of a larger script written by your agent. It handles the JSON payload, allowing you to build complex delivery automation sequences. Query `list_users` to ensure your code only performs actions for authorized personnel. This adds a layer of permission logic to your custom security tools.
