How to Use the Browserbase MCP in Cursor
Execute headless browser tasks inside Cursor to feed live web data into your codebase.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Browserbase MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Browserbase to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Launch browser sessions directly in Cursor
Call `create_browser_session` to spin up a Chromium instance that your agent can manipulate. This integration allows Cursor to interact with websites as if it were a human user. By getting a CDP WebSocket URL, you can write code that controls the browser in real-time. It bridges the gap between your editor and the live web.
Track Browserbase jobs within Cursor
Query your current infrastructure using `list_browser_sessions` to see what is running. It helps you keep an eye on active automation jobs while you write code. If you need to verify a specific process, `get_browser_session` provides the metadata for that ID. You stay informed without switching windows.
Terminate browser tasks from Cursor
Use `stop_browser_session` to kill any process that is no longer needed. It is the fastest way to clean up resources without leaving your IDE. Executing this tool immediately halts the session. It keeps your development environment focused and your cloud costs low.
