Write code and manage your Buffer queue in Cursor using real-time social media data.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Buffer MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Buffer to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate social sharing inside Cursor
The `create_update` tool schedules social updates directly from your active coding workspace. When you finish a feature, this MCP server lets your editor's agent draft a release post, shorten links, and queue it without you switching context. It checks your connected accounts using `list_profiles` to ensure the post targets the correct developer or brand channel. You write the code, and the editor handles the announcement.
Manage scheduled posts with this MCP Server
The `list_pending_updates` tool retrieves your current queue of scheduled social posts. You can view what is lined up next and use `reorder_updates` to adjust the timing of promotional posts directly from the chat pane. If your schedule looks repetitive, the `shuffle_updates` tool mixes up the pending queue. This keeps your social feeds dynamic while you focus on shipping code.
Inspect sent updates and profile settings
The `list_sent_updates` tool fetches your history of published posts right into your Cursor sidebar using the MCP standard. You can analyze what went out and use those patterns to draft your next set of updates. The agent uses `get_config` to pull platform rules and character limits, preventing formatting errors before they happen. It ensures your drafts match each network's constraints perfectly.
