How to Use the BugBug MCP in Cursor
Let Cursor call BugBug tools to run regression tests and verify your code changes in real time.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect BugBug MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect BugBug to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate BugBug checks in Cursor
Trigger `run_test` or `run_suite` while writing code in your editor. Your agent executes these tasks, ensuring your latest commits don't break existing features. Stop guessing if your code works. The agent runs the browser test and reports the outcome immediately, saving you from manual verification cycles.
Inspect BugBug runs within Cursor
Use `list_test_runs` to keep track of your team's testing history. You can see the status of recent operations without leaving your current workspace. Fetch detailed logs using `get_test_run` to diagnose failures instantly. You get the specific data you need to fix regressions before they reach your users.
Navigate BugBug projects from Cursor
List your available projects and suites using `list_projects` and `list_suites`. This keeps your testing structure organized and accessible while you code. Pull configuration details with `get_test` or `get_suite` when you need to reference specific test parameters. This provides the necessary context to maintain high-quality codebases.
