…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Builder.io MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Builder.io to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate typed code from your Builder.io models
The `get_model` tool retrieves your exact visual CMS schema directly into Cursor's active editor. This lets Cursor's agent write TypeScript interfaces that match your Builder.io custom fields with absolute precision. Instead of guessing property names or copying JSON, you use `list_models` to let the editor inspect your setup. The generated components compile correctly on your first run because they use real API definitions.
Update Builder.io content entries inside Cursor
The `update_content_entry` tool modifies your live CMS data without forcing you to open a web browser. You can edit a local JSON file and have this MCP Server push those changes straight to your Builder.io dashboard. If you need to verify what is currently live, `get_content_entry` pulls the exact draft payload into your side panel. This keeps your local mock data perfectly aligned with your actual production content.
Inspect multiple Builder.io spaces using this MCP Server
The `list_spaces` tool lets Cursor search through your entire organization's environments to find the right target. Your agent switches contexts automatically when you change git branches or project roots. By calling `get_space`, the editor verifies your active environment before executing write operations. You don't have to worry about accidentally overwriting production content while hacking on local components.
