Connect Cerbos (Access Control) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cerbos (Access Control) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write and enforce rules with Cline
Stop bouncing between your code and the authorization server. You tell your agent to build a new admin dashboard, and it automatically writes the required permissions using `add_policy`. It writes the required YAML structure based on your database models. When roles change, the agent handles the migration. It grabs the old rules via `get_policy`, rewrites the conditions, and pushes the new version with `update_policy`. The whole process happens right in your sidebar.
Validate permissions locally
Testing access control usually requires a bunch of manual curl commands. Cline skips that by running `check_resources` directly against your local or staging environment. It feeds dummy data into the endpoint to ensure your roles actually work. For complex setups, the agent uses `authzen_evaluations` to run batch checks. It writes the test script, executes the MCP tool, and shows you the final results. You get instant proof that your authorization logic holds up.
Debug access issues via MCP Server
Figuring out why a user got blocked is tedious. Just ask your agent to investigate, and it will pull the recent history using `list_audit_logs`. It reads the output and tells you exactly which rule triggered the denial. Schema management gets the same treatment. The agent pulls your current definitions with `list_schemas` and updates them using `add_schema` when your data model shifts. Everything stays perfectly aligned.
