How to Use the Chatsistant MCP in Cline
Let Cline build and test your white-label AI assistants directly in VS Code using this MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Chatsistant MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Chatsistant to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Analytics Dashboards
Cline calls `list_conversations` and `get_conversation` to fetch real chat logs from your active bots. You tell it to build a React dashboard for a specific client. The agent writes the components, maps the API data, and renders the transcript view. It handles the entire frontend implementation using actual production data instead of mock JSON.
Audit Support Bot Settings
Invoking `list_bots` and `get_bot` allows the agent to pull down the exact settings for every white-label assistant you manage. It checks system prompts and branding variables. If a client reports missing notifications, Cline runs `list_webhooks` to verify the routing. It then writes the necessary Node.js backend code to fix any broken webhook handlers.
Automate MCP Server Tests
The `query_bot` tool lets your agent simulate real user queries against your configured knowledge bases. You ask Cline to write an integration test suite for a new bot. It drafts the tests, runs the queries, and checks the responses. When a test fails, the agent pushes missing documentation via `add_data_source` and re-runs the suite until everything passes.
