How to Use the Checkly MCP in Cursor
Inject real-time Checkly monitoring data directly into your Cursor codebase.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Checkly MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Checkly to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Debug production issues in Cursor
Feed live performance metrics straight into your editor's context. When you call `get_check_performance_metrics`, the agent reads the response and suggests code fixes based on real response times. This stops the cycle of copying and pasting logs. Your editor knows exactly what the server is doing because it sees the live monitor output.
Trigger production tests within Cursor
Run your E2E suite from the command palette or chat window. Triggering `trigger_check_run` lets you confirm a fix works in production without leaving your IDE. It puts your deployment validation inside your coding loop. You know your code is solid before you even commit.
Audit your monitor inventory in Cursor
Map your existing checks to your project structure easily. Using `list_checkly_checks` provides a full list of your current API and browser tests as context for the AI. It keeps your documentation aligned with your actual monitoring setup. You can see your `list_check_groups` at a glance while writing new features.
