Terminal-Driven Clockify in Claude Code

The `add_new_time_entry` tool in this MCP Server lets Claude Code log hours directly from your command line. SREs and backend devs can pipe terminal outputs straight into Clockify timesheets. You can chain commands to run `stop_current_timer` in Claude Code right when your deployment script finishes. It turns manual Clockify tracking into a simple CLI command.

Claude Code Clockify Audits

The `list_clockify_workspaces` tool lists all your available Clockify workspaces in plain text inside Claude Code. Your Claude Code terminal agent parses this output to target the correct Clockify billing account. To prevent orphaned logs and keep your Clockify database clean, Claude Code uses `list_workspace_projects` to verify that your active directory matches an existing project.

Headless Team Monitoring in Claude Code

The `list_user_time_entries` tool lets Claude Code pull recent Clockify logs for any user in your workspace. You can run this in a Claude Code shell script to generate daily Clockify reports. By combining this with `list_workspace_users`, Claude Code maps IDs to real Clockify names instantly. It replaces heavy Clockify web dashboards with fast Claude Code terminal outputs.
