Connect Clockify MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Clockify to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automated Time Tracking in Windsurf
The `add_new_time_entry` tool in this MCP Server lets Cascade log your work hours directly to your Clockify workspace. When you tell Windsurf you finished a feature, Cascade automatically writes the log for you. Cascade chains this with `stop_current_timer` to halt any running clocks in Clockify before starting the new one. Windsurf gives you clean timesheets without opening the web app.
Windsurf Workspace Context Discovery
The `list_clockify_workspaces` tool reads all active Clockify workspaces directly into your Windsurf editor. Cascade uses this list to locate where your current file belongs, saving you from manual ID lookups. Then, the agent pulls active clients using `list_workspace_clients` to map your Windsurf hours to the correct billable account. Windsurf handles the organization while you focus on writing code.
Team Hour Audits in Windsurf
The `list_workspace_projects` tool pulls every active Clockify project so Cascade can tag your entries correctly. Your agent matches your current Windsurf git branch to these projects automatically. By querying team members via `list_workspace_users` and checking logs with `list_user_time_entries`, Cascade builds quick Clockify reports. You get a clear picture of team progress right in your Windsurf IDE.
