How to Use the Cloudinary MCP in Cline
Let Cline build media dashboards and manage your Cloudinary assets directly from your VS Code workspace.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cloudinary MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cloudinary to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build media galleries with Cline and Cloudinary
Cline fetches your actual Cloudinary images and tags using `list_media_resources` and `list_media_tags` to build real media galleries directly in your VS Code workspace. The agent writes the code, imports the live Cloudinary assets, and displays the working diff in the Cline sidebar.
Monitor Cloudinary quotas using this Cline MCP Server
To keep you ahead of overage charges, Cline checks your Cloudinary storage, bandwidth, and transformation metrics using `get_cloudinary_usage_report`. If you are nearing your limits, Cline scans your local code files, finds heavy media assets, and suggests optimizations.
Delete and organize assets from your workspace
Purging old files from your Cloudinary account using `delete_media_resource` allows Cline to match your local VS Code workspace. It can also run `search_media_library` to verify that an asset is not used elsewhere before Cline deletes it.
