Cursor agent queries for CMS.gov Data
Enable Agent mode in Cursor to let the AI call `search_providers_by_specialty` or `search_nursing_homes`. The AI writes code based on these live API responses instead of relying on outdated stubs. Your editor receives the raw JSON output, letting you build logic around verified provider locations and Medicare status. It bridges the gap between federal data and your application code.
Verify provider details during development
Use `get_doctor_by_npi` to fetch accurate practice addresses and specialties while you build your healthcare app. You stop wasting time on mock data that never matches production reality. This tool gives you the exact NPI data structure you need to handle provider records. Your code stays clean and aligned with federal enrollment standards.
Explore hospital metrics in Cursor
Integrate `search_hospitals` to pull quality ratings and emergency service availability directly into your project context. You can build features that rank hospitals based on real-world performance metrics. Because the AI calls these tools directly, you see the impact of your code changes immediately. It makes developing data-heavy interfaces much faster.
