…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Codacy MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Codacy to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fix static analysis issues in Cursor Agent mode
Your agent runs `search_repository_issues` in Cursor Agent mode to see exactly what Codacy static analysis issues exist in your current file. This helps you identify violations immediately. Cursor then writes the fix directly into your codebase. You get working code that satisfies your Codacy quality gates on the very first try.
Track your codebase grade while you write
This MCP Server calls `get_repository_quality_analysis` to check your current Codacy repository rating before you push code from Cursor. Tracking technical debt is automated. If your Codacy grade is slipping, you can address the technical debt immediately in Cursor. You keep your quality high without switching to an external dashboard.
Confirm language analysis inside your workspace
Your Cursor agent uses `list_supported_languages` to verify if the Codacy static analysis engine will parse your code. This avoids configuration errors. It keeps your Cursor development cycle tight. You know exactly what the Codacy engine can parse before you write the code.
