Audit commit coverage directly from your terminal

Claude Code operates entirely in your shell, making it easy to run quick coverage checks. By calling `get_commit_coverage_totals`, the agent pulls the exact coverage status of any commit SHA without leaving the command line. You can pipe this output directly into other terminal utilities or shell scripts. The agent uses `list_repository_commits` to quickly trace coverage drops across your latest git history.

Automate CI workflows with the Codecov MCP Server

Perfect for SREs and DevOps engineers, this MCP Server lets Claude Code run automated checks in headless environments. The agent uses `get_repository_coverage_details` to verify that a release branch meets your quality gates. By querying `list_repository_branches`, Claude Code verifies coverage across multiple tracking branches in parallel. It handles the API calls in the background and prints clean, actionable summaries to your terminal.

Map file-level coverage gaps in headless environments

When debugging failing builds over SSH, Claude Code calls `get_coverage_report_tree` to locate the exact files that missed test execution. It outputs a hierarchical view of your project's coverage directly to stdout. The agent filters these results using `list_coverage_flags` to isolate flaky or skipped test suites. You get a precise diagnosis of your test coverage health without launching a GUI or a web browser.
