How to Use the Codefresh MCP in Cursor
Use Cursor to trigger Codefresh builds and pull deployment data while you write your code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Codefresh MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Codefresh to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Deep integration for Codefresh in Cursor
Cursor allows the AI to see your CI/CD setup in real-time. Use `list_codefresh_pipelines` to identify which workflows need attention while you are editing source files. By keeping your terminal usage low, you can verify pipeline configurations with `get_pipeline_configuration` before you commit your next change.
Execute and monitor builds in Cursor
Trigger your CI/CD tasks using `trigger_codefresh_build` right from the chat panel. It is faster than navigating the Codefresh web UI when you are already deep into a coding session. Follow up by running `get_build_execution_details` to verify the output. The AI provides the status updates you need to move to the next task immediately.
Access environment context directly
Keep your secrets and variables aligned with `list_shared_contexts` inside Cursor. It prevents errors that happen when you manually copy values between windows. You can also list clusters with `list_delivery_clusters` to confirm your code is targeted for the right environment. Everything stays within your editor workspace.
