How to Use the CodeRabbit MCP in Cursor
Provision CodeRabbit seats and pull PR review metrics directly into your Cursor editor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect CodeRabbit MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect CodeRabbit to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Provision Seats Inside Cursor Agent Mode
The `assign_seats` tool lets your agent provision up to 500 user IDs while you write code using this MCP server. You never have to leave the Cursor editor to onboard new team members. If you need to clean up licenses, run `unassign_seats` directly from the chat. It updates your billing footprint without deleting any underlying accounts.
Audit Admin Changes on the Fly
The `get_audit_logs` tool pulls recent security events directly into your active workspace. Cursor uses this raw log data to help you debug access issues. Combine this with `list_users` to see exactly who has admin rights on your project via our MCP server. It gives you immediate visibility during security audits.
Track Live PR Metrics While Coding
The `get_metrics` tool fetches pull request review metrics for your active date ranges. Your Cursor agent can analyze these numbers to find bottlenecks in your delivery pipeline. This integration lets you write custom scripts that use real performance data instead of static mock files. You get live feedback on team velocity right next to your source files.
