How to Use the Coding.net MCP in Cursor
Bring live Coding.net repository context into your Cursor Agent sessions.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Coding.net MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Coding.net to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cursor Agent integration for Coding.net
Use `get_repo` and `list_repos` to let Cursor see your actual project structure. The agent writes code that references your real repository state. This setup removes the need for manual copy-pasting. You ask the agent to check a repo, and it pulls the latest data via the MCP server.
Fetch issues and PRs while coding
Call `list_issues` to see your current backlog without leaving the editor. The agent can then draft code fixes based on those specific issue descriptions. Use `list_mrs` to stay updated on team progress. Your agent can summarize pending reviews and suggest edits based on the current branch status.
Access project details in Cursor
Execute `get_project` to grab metadata for your current development workspace. It ensures your agent knows exactly which project it is working within. Use `get_user` to verify your profile context. This makes sure every action the agent takes aligns with your specific permissions on the platform.
