Connect Coinbase MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Coinbase to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build apps in Cursor with real Coinbase rates
`get_buy_price` feeds real-time Coinbase pricing with exact fee structures directly to your Cursor agent. Your Cursor agent writes functional code using actual, live-updating Coinbase API responses instead of stale mock data. This means you test your math against real Coinbase BTC-USD or ETH-USD rates as you write in Cursor. You see exactly how Coinbase fees impact the total cost before you compile a single line of code in Cursor.
Validate currency pairs inside this MCP Server
`get_currencies` pulls the complete list of fiat and cryptocurrencies supported by Coinbase, including precision limits, directly into Cursor. Your Cursor agent uses this tool to write exact validation logic for your custom Coinbase order-entry forms. The server outputs raw Coinbase JSON containing precision bounds and active trading states directly into your Cursor workspace. This prevents you from writing code in Cursor that submits invalid decimal precision to the Coinbase exchange.
Map multi-asset feeds in Cursor
`get_public_prices` retrieves spot, buy, and sell prices for a comma-separated list of Coinbase pairs inside Cursor. Your Cursor agent calls this tool to populate local configuration files with fresh Coinbase market benchmarks. You write your trading scripts in Cursor while the editor pulls the actual spread between Coinbase buy and sell rates. There is no need to run curl commands in an external terminal to verify the Coinbase JSON structure in Cursor.
