Connect Commodities MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Commodities to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject real pricing data into your Cursor code
Stop writing hardcoded mock data for your financial applications. Your Cursor agent uses `list_all_commodities` to fetch actual ticker codes and feeds them directly into your active files. This Commodities MCP Server helps you build realistic features. When building a portfolio app, ask Cursor to populate your test state using `get_precious_metals_prices` to grab live gold and silver numbers.
Build energy apps with live market feeds
Write trading algorithms or energy dashboards using this tool to fetch WTI and Brent crude prices. Cursor calls `get_energy_commodities_prices` to pull oil and gas metrics directly into your workspace. If your code needs specific benchmarks, your editor runs `get_crude_oil_price` or `get_brent_crude_oil_price`. This lets you test how your application handles sudden market swings without relying on outdated static files.
Test agricultural pricing logic on the fly
Verify your grain pricing formulas by querying `get_agriculture_commodities_prices` inside Cursor. The editor uses your agent to pull current food prices, making sure your calculations align with today's real trading values. Targeting specific crops like coffee or wheat is straightforward with `get_coffee_price` and `get_wheat_price`. This pulls precise CBOT values to help you verify your formulas during active development.
