How to Use the Contentstack MCP in Cursor
Inject live Contentstack data into your codebase using Cursor agent mode.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Contentstack MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Contentstack to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Live Contentstack data in Cursor
Stop using static mocks in your code. The `get_single_entry` tool fetches real UUIDs and logs directly into your editor context. You can feed this live data into your component generation. Cursor then writes code based on the actual API structure of your CMS.
Schema-aware development in Cursor
Run `list_global_schemas` to let your agent understand your content models. It maps out your fields so the code you write matches your CMS reality. Use `get_schema_details` to verify properties before you commit. It ensures your types align with the live API output.
Automated Contentstack entry management
Call `create_cms_entry` to provision new records while you code. It saves you from manual dashboard work during feature development. Use `publish_to_environment` to trigger deployments once your code is ready. Your CMS data stays in sync with your local logic.
