Connect Contentstack MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Contentstack to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Typed Code from Live Schemas in Cursor
Your developer agent calls `get_content_type_details` to pull live schemas directly from your Contentstack environment. It then uses `list_content_types` to inspect the available fields, writing accurate types and components based on the actual fields configured in your CMS. This integration allows Cursor to generate React or Next.js components that match your database structure on the first try. You avoid runtime errors caused by mismatched field types or missing optional parameters.
Query Live Contentstack Entries While Coding
The editor runs `search_entries` to fetch live content payloads right into your active file. If you need to verify how localized content looks, `list_entries` and `get_entry` pull those specific variations instantly. Your agent can inspect the exact JSON output of your delivery API to write precise data-fetching logic using this MCP integration. You see exactly how nested reference fields and rich text blocks are structured before you write your parsing code.
Inspect Asset Metadata Inside Your Code Editor
This MCP Server calls `list_assets` to help you handle media assets without leaving your editor. Your agent also uses `get_asset_details` to verify file paths, dimensions, and file sizes. By inspecting asset metadata directly, you ensure your code handles edge cases like missing alt text or massive file sizes. You get a clear view of your media library without opening a browser tab.
