How to Use the Convertio MCP in Cursor
Inject live file conversion into your code with the Convertio MCP Server running inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Convertio MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Convertio to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Convert assets directly inside Cursor
Use `quick_convert_to_pdf` to turn web assets into documents while you write your application logic. This keeps your development loop tight and avoids context switching. Your agent calls the tools directly, so you don't waste time on manual file manipulation. You get the output you need in the terminal output or chat panel.
Automate format lists in Cursor
Call `list_common_formats` to see exactly what types are supported before you start coding. It prevents errors by showing you the valid options for your specific project needs. This data helps your agent write better code because it understands the API constraints. You spend less time debugging unsupported formats.
Monitor conversion jobs in Cursor
Keep an eye on your ongoing requests with `get_conversion_status` during your coding session. You see the progress of your assets without leaving your IDE. It works perfectly with Agent mode, allowing the AI to manage the lifecycle of your files. You focus on the architecture while the tools handle the media.
