Connect Convoy MCP to Claude Desktop
Create your Vinkius account to connect Convoy to Claude Desktop and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Provision and configure endpoints in Claude Desktop
Stop jumping between your terminal and the Convoy dashboard to set up target URLs. This MCP server lets you run `create_endpoint` and `update_endpoint` straight from your Claude Desktop chat window. Your agent configures the destinations, registers metadata, and updates configurations on the fly. If a downstream service starts failing, you don't need to manually disable it. Just tell Claude Desktop to pause the traffic. The agent calls `pause_endpoint` or `activate_endpoint` to control the flow while you debug the underlying issue.
Broadcast events and manage subscriptions
Sending test payloads shouldn't require complex curl commands. With this integration, Claude Desktop uses `broadcast_event` or `fanout_event` to push payloads to your active subscribers. You can describe the event structure in plain English, and your agent builds the JSON payload and triggers the broadcast. Managing complex routing rules is equally straightforward. Your agent invokes `create_subscription` and `bulk_create_filters` to direct specific event types to the right destinations, making sure your test events land exactly where they should.
Debug failed deliveries inside your chat
When webhooks fail, you need to see why immediately. This server exposes `list_event_deliveries` and `get_delivery_attempt` so Claude Desktop can pull the exact response headers and error codes into your conversation. No more digging through external database logs. Once you fix the bug in your local code, tell your agent to replay the failed requests. The agent triggers `retry_event_delivery` or `batch_retry_event_deliveries` to clean up the queue and verify the fix works.
