Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Convoy MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Convoy to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate consumer code using real endpoints
Writing webhook handlers usually involves guessing the incoming payload structure. With this MCP server, Cursor inspects your actual configuration using `get_endpoint` and `list_subscriptions` to feed real schema data directly into the editor. The agent reads this live context to generate precise TypeScript or Python route handlers. It writes code tailored to your actual Convoy setup, eliminating the typical trial-and-error cycle of handler development.
Trigger live test events from the Cursor editor
You don't need to leave your code editor to trigger webhook events. Cursor calls `create_event` or `broadcast_event` to send test payloads directly to your local dev server or staging endpoints while you write the ingestion code. If you need to test complex routing, the agent can run `create_filter` or `bulk_create_filters` to set up your subscription rules on the fly, matching the exact headers your code expects.
Inspect and retry deliveries in Cursor Agent mode
When your local consumer crashes during a test run, Cursor uses `list_delivery_attempts` to fetch the stack trace and response body directly. This puts the exact error message right next to your active code file. After editing your handler to fix the crash, ask the Agent to execute `retry_event_delivery`. It replays the failed payload so you can immediately see if your code change resolved the issue.
