How to Use the Creatomate MCP in Cursor
Automate video production in Cursor. Build and render content while you write code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Creatomate MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Creatomate to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Execute video renders directly inside Cursor
Call `render_video` to generate media files as part of your development workflow. You can pass dynamic data into your templates and get the render status immediately. Use `get_render_status` to monitor long-running tasks. This keeps your build process moving without manual intervention.
Query your template library in Cursor
Run `list_video_templates` to see what is available in your current project. It helps you pick the right layout for your code-driven content. Dig into the specifics with `get_template_details` to understand required fields. You can also use `search_templates_by_name` to find specific assets quickly.
Control project assets from the Cursor editor
Fetch your uploaded media using `list_media_assets`. It gives you immediate access to your images and videos for testing. Check your project configuration with `get_project_settings` to verify your environment. This MCP Server makes it easy to keep your dev environment synced with your production account.
