Create your Vinkius account to connect CurseForge to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Modpack Managers with Cline
You want a custom Python script that keeps your Minecraft server updated. Tell your agent to write it. The MCP Server hits `search_mods` to find the specific projects you track. Instead of just giving you code snippets, it actually runs `get_mod_file_download_url` to test the logic. It writes the Python file, stages the download logic, and runs a quick test to ensure the signed URLs parse correctly. You get a working script, not a tutorial.
Diff Local Files Against Remote Hashes
Mod updates break things constantly. Point your AI client at your staging folder and ask it to find outdated .jar files. It hashes your local files and feeds them into `get_fingerprints_matches`. The MCP Server returns the exact remote versions. The agent then pulls the latest release notes using `get_mod_file_changelog`. You see a clean markdown file comparing your installed versions against what just dropped on the network.
Scrape Mod Metadata Automatically
Creating a wiki for your custom modpack takes days of manual copying and pasting. Give the tool a list of project IDs. The MCP Server fires off `get_mods_batch` to grab the basic info for everything at once. Then it iterates through the list, calling `get_mod_description` for each one. The agent parses the raw HTML, strips out the junk, and generates clean markdown files for your documentation site. The entire wiki builds itself while you watch the terminal.
