Connect Deep Diff Engine MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Deep Diff Engine to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Tests for API Changes
The `calculate_json_diff` tool identifies every structural change between two JSON objects. You can use this to compare a new API response with a saved fixture. Tell Cline, 'The user API response has changed, update the tests.' Cline can fetch the new response, use this MCP server to get a precise diff, and then write new test cases that assert against the added or modified fields.
Update Types from JSON Payloads
Use `calculate_json_diff` to see how a JSON payload from a webhook or API has evolved. It pinpoints every new field, deleted key, or type change. This is where Cline shines. Instruct it to 'update my TypeScript types based on this new API payload.' Cline gets the diff and automatically adds or removes properties from your interfaces, keeping your code in sync.
Automate Dependency Config Audits with Cline
The `calculate_json_diff` tool isn't just for API data; it works on any JSON. That includes your `package-lock.json` or other dependency manifests. Ask Cline to 'check for risky dependency updates in the new lockfile.' It can use the Deep Diff Engine to spot changes in specific packages and then cross-reference them with a vulnerability database.
