Connect DevDocs MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DevDocs to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cascade auto-discovers API structures
Look, Cascade doesn't just guess your framework's API methods when you write code. By using the `list_libraries` tool, this MCP Server lets your editor immediately see which documentation sets are available on DevDocs. The agent scans this list to find matching libraries for your active project without you typing a single prompt. Once Cascade knows what libraries you are using, it targets the exact documentation version. You get accurate code suggestions because your editor is working with the actual API definitions, not outdated training data.
Targeted searches inside the Windsurf editor
Leaving your IDE to search for CSS Grid or Rust standard library syntax ruins your focus. This DevDocs MCP Server integrates directly into Cascade's planning phase, allowing it to invoke `search_docs` to find the exact manual page paths. Your editor executes this behind the scenes while you write. The planner gets the precise path it needs, skipping the noise of Google search results and SEO-stuffed blogs.
Feed raw Markdown docs straight to Cascade
Cascade reads raw text better than human-targeted web pages. The `read_page` tool grabs clean Markdown of the exact doc page and injects it directly into Windsurf's context window. This means Cascade writes correct code on the first try because it reads the actual parameters and return types. No copy-pasting code snippets from a browser tab into your editor.
