How to Use the DocsGenFlow MCP in Windsurf
Automate your document generation directly inside Windsurf by letting Cascade handle your template logic and file output.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DocsGenFlow MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DocsGenFlow to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Windsurf handles your document pipelines
Cascade reads your requirements and executes `create_template` to structure your data outputs. It maps your JSON payloads to specific merge fields without manual intervention. Once the template is ready, the agent uses `generate_document` to produce the final file. You get a clean, formatted document ready for your project folders.
Manage DocsGenFlow assets within the IDE
Use `list_templates` to view every available design directly in your sidebar. Cascade tracks your active projects by pulling real-time data from your account. When you need to review past work, `list_history` provides a clear log of every action taken. It keeps your document audit trail inside your current workspace.
Verify your DocsGenFlow connection status
Run `check_docsgenflow_status` to confirm the server is live and responding. This ensures your agent has a stable link to the generation engine before starting a task. If you need to verify specific file details, call `get_document`. You can then use `download_document` to pull the final output into your local tree.
