Spin up and control Dyte meetings in Claude Desktop
This MCP Server lets your agent run `create_meeting` and `get_meeting` directly from your local Claude Desktop chat window to configure live video sessions. You don't need to dig through API docs or write custom scripts just to spin up a video room. Your agent handles the API calls locally and returns the session details instantly. When you need to check on active video rooms, the agent calls `list_meetings` to pull current session data into Claude Desktop. This keeps your video infrastructure organized without you ever leaving your workspace or opening a browser tab.
Onboard live video users via Claude Desktop
The `add_participant` tool lets Claude Desktop generate join tokens for your live video users on the fly. Instead of manual token generation scripts, you tell your local agent who needs access, and it handles the payload creation. You can also run `list_participants` to monitor who is currently in a video session from Claude Desktop. The agent parses this raw list into a clean summary, making it easy to see active users right inside your chat interface.
Control recordings and livestreams locally
This MCP Server exposes `start_recording` and `stop_recording` so Claude Desktop can manage your session media archives. You don't have to manually click record in the UI; your local agent triggers the recording based on your chat commands. If you are broadcasting, the agent uses `start_livestream` and `stop_livestream` to manage your external feeds. It can also pull archive details using `get_recording` as soon as the session ends.
