How to Use the FileStack MCP in Cline
Cline handles your media processing and file analysis via the FileStack MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect FileStack MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect FileStack to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct file management in Cline
Cline can ingest external files using `upload_from_url` and store them in your account. It then uses `get_metadata` to confirm file properties before moving on to the next step. This removes the need for manual uploads. You tell Cline what you need, and it executes the transfer and verification automatically.
Visual analysis with Cline
Use `get_image_tags` to have Cline inventory your assets based on visual content. This helps in organizing large media directories without manual tagging. Cline can also run `get_sfw_status` to flag or filter content that doesn't meet your requirements. It ensures your media library stays clean and compliant.
Generate transformation URLs in Cline
Instead of hardcoding image processing logic, use `generate_transform_url` to build dynamic URLs. Cline can insert these directly into your HTML or CSS components. This keeps your codebase clean by delegating the heavy lifting to the image processing service. Cline handles the URL construction based on the parameters you define.
