How to Use the Float MCP in Cursor
Build your product roadmap in Cursor by injecting live team availability and project task data into your agent's context.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Float MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Float to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Schedule tasks directly from Cursor
Call `create_allocation` inside your editor to reserve time for specific developers. You no longer need to switch tabs to update your project management tool. Your agent checks `list_people` to verify team members before assigning tasks. It keeps your code and your project plan in total sync.
Check project status in Cursor
Run `get_project` to fetch metadata for the work currently on your plate. You get clear visibility into task names and project scope without context switching. It helps you align code changes with project requirements. You can use this to ensure your implementation matches the current priority list.
Analyze time logs in Cursor
Use `get_logged_time` to see how much effort a feature actually takes. This gives you empirical data to improve your future estimation accuracy. Your agent processes these logs to identify bottlenecks in your development cycle. You can then adjust your workflow based on hard numbers.
