How to Use the Framer MCP in Cursor
Inject live Framer CMS data directly into your code using this MCP Server in Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Framer MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Framer to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Query Framer projects in Cursor
Hardcoding site IDs is a terrible habit. Connecting this MCP Server means your editor fetches that context dynamically. The agent runs `get_project` and `get_site_info` in the background. It pulls your actual production configuration so the code it writes matches your real environment.
Sync CMS collections via API
Writing scripts to migrate content usually means guessing the schema. Now your editor knows exactly what fields exist. Cursor calls `list_collections` and `list_collection_items` to read your live database. Generating a migration script now relies on your actual content structure instead of mock data.
Automate content creation and publishing
You can build a custom admin panel, or you can just let the AI handle the updates. The server provides direct write access. The agent executes `create_collection_item` to push new records. Once the data looks right, it runs `publish_site` to push the changes to your visitors immediately.
