Connect GitLab MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect GitLab to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write code using real GitLab pipeline contexts in Cursor
The `list_project_pipelines` tool lets Cursor query your active CI/CD builds to see exactly why a run failed. This MCP Server lets the editor query real-time run logs directly while you work. The agent reads the real failure logs and proposes a direct code fix in your editor. You can apply the change instantly, bypassing the usual manual cycle of push, fail, and debug.
In-context issue resolution and file updates
Your agent runs `list_project_issues` to pull down the exact ticket description and user comments for the file you are editing. Resolve bugs without leaving your active file buffer. Once it understands the problem, it uses `get_repository_file` to pull the target file, edits the code, and prepares the fix. You get a complete, context-aware coding loop right inside your editor.
Explore complex project structures instantly
Mapping out complex workspaces becomes instant when your agent runs `list_visible_projects` and `get_project_details` to scan your accessible repositories. Navigating a massive codebase is easier when your editor can query the hosting platform directly. If the code lives in a different repository, the agent uses `search_gitlab_global` to track down the correct file path. You spend less time hunting for files and more time writing clean code using this MCP toolset.
