How to Use the Hashnode MCP in Cline
Let Cline manage your Hashnode blog and automate your publishing workflow using this MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Hashnode MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hashnode to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end publishing with Cline
Tell Cline to write a blog post based on your current project and it will handle the rest. It uses `create_post` to format and ship your content to your publication without you touching a browser. It’s a direct pipeline from your code to your readers. The agent creates the file, structures the markdown, and executes the API call in one go.
Manage your Hashnode profile and posts
Cline can fetch your user details using `get_user` to ensure your author metadata is correct before publishing. It keeps your context accurate during the writing process. It’s useful for cross-referencing your author ID or publication settings. If you’re managing multiple blogs, the agent checks your profile state first to prevent posting to the wrong place.
Update live posts through Cline
Keep your technical tutorials fresh by letting the agent push updates. Using `update_post`, it modifies your live articles whenever you update the source code in your repository. You don't have to worry about version mismatch. Cline ensures the live post matches the code you're currently refactoring in your VS Code sidebar.
