How to Use the Helpshift MCP in Cursor
Inject live support data into your codebase using the Helpshift MCP Server in Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Helpshift MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Helpshift to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Context-aware issue management in Cursor
Bring your support tickets into the editor while you code. Call `get_issue_details` to pull specific ticket context directly into your Agent chat. You can then use `add_issue_message` to append your findings or technical notes to the ticket without ever switching windows.
Audit logs for code-related tickets in Cursor
Track exactly what happened to a bug report by running `get_issue_audit_logs`. This gives you the full history of status changes and agent interactions. Cross-reference these logs with your commit history to see if a recent change matches the reported issue timeline.
Manage support apps in Cursor environments
Use `list_registered_apps` to see which Helpshift apps are currently active in your account. This helps you target the correct app ID when creating new tickets. Once you have the ID, use `create_issue` to log new bugs directly from your terminal or chat session.
