How to Use the Hookdeck MCP in Cursor
Build and test webhook logic in Cursor with live event data. No more mocking payloads manually.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Hookdeck MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hookdeck to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live Hookdeck data into Cursor
Your agent can now pull real event logs using `list_events` while you write your handlers. It keeps your code grounded in reality instead of relying on stale examples. When you need to see how a specific source is configured, just call `get_source`. The agent brings the config right into your context window.
Refine transformations with Cursor
Stop guessing your transformation syntax. Use `test_transformation` to run your code against a real payload and see the result in the sidebar. If the output is wrong, adjust your code and run the test again. It makes writing complex logic feel like a standard unit test.
Control your infrastructure from the editor
Need to pause a connection during a deploy? Use `pause_connection` without leaving your IDE. You can even update your destination URLs with `update_destination` if an endpoint moves. It keeps your infrastructure management inside your development cycle. You stay in the flow because the tools are right where you write your code.
