Build Secure Components with Cline
When you ask Cline to build a rich-text editor, it knows you need security. It uses `sanitizeHtml_html` to wrap your user inputs automatically. The agent writes the component, imports the tool, and tests the output. You don't have to explain XSS vectors. Cline feeds dummy malicious payloads to the tool and shows you the clean diff right in your editor.
Local Payload Cleaning
Storing dirty HTML in your database is a ticking time bomb. This MCP server gives your agent the exact mechanism to defuse it. It strips out dangerous tags before your API routes process the request. The agent handles the integration. It sets up the middleware, calls the sanitizer, and ensures only safe HTML makes it to your backend.
Automated Vulnerability Patching
Point your agent at an older project with exposed HTML inputs. It will find the vulnerable endpoints and inject `sanitizeHtml_html` into the data flow. The entire process happens locally. You watch the agent write the code, run the tests, and commit the fixes without leaving your IDE.
