Create your Vinkius account to connect Internet Archive Search to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Live archive data for Cursor
Stop using placeholders. Use `search` to bring actual historical data into your codebase while you write. Your agent calls the tools directly. It parses the JSON responses and lets you use the output as live context for your coding tasks.
Deep filtering with Cursor
Need specific works? Use `search_by_creator` or `search_by_publisher` to find exact assets. You can then pipe that data into your script. It works by connecting the archive API to your editor's agent mode. You get accurate, documented references without ever switching tabs.
Topic-based retrieval in your editor
Use `search_by_subject` to find relevant archives for your current technical topic. It returns metadata you can use for test data or documentation. This MCP Server makes the archive act like a local database. You query it, get the IDs, and build your features on top of verified public content.
