Pipe Jibble data into shell scripts

Run `list_time_entries` directly from your terminal to feed data into your own monitoring scripts. Claude Code returns the JSON output for immediate processing. This is ideal for automated payroll checks or attendance alerts. It keeps your pipeline moving without needing a GUI.

Manage Jibble configurations via CLI

Verify your account status using `get_organization` within your terminal session. It confirms your connection is active before you trigger larger batch jobs. You can also use `list_groups` to define the scope of your scripts. It ensures your automation only targets the relevant segments of your workforce.

Audit project logs with your MCP Server

Use `list_projects` to pull active project IDs for your reporting tools. Claude Code handles the API handshake so you can focus on the output. It makes it easy to integrate time data into your existing build logs. You get precise records every time you run your command.

Common questions about Jibble MCP in Claude Code

Use the command `claude mcp add` followed by the server URL. It saves the configuration to your local settings file for persistent use.
Yes. Because it runs in the terminal, you can script it to poll `list_time_entries` at specific intervals. It works well for CI/CD environments.
Your key is stored locally in your configuration file. The server uses it only to sign requests to the API, keeping your credentials off the network as much as possible.
Absolutely. Since Claude Code is headless, you can bundle the MCP configuration into your container setup for automated time-tracking tasks.
The server returns an error code that your script can catch. It allows you to build retry logic into your pipeline, ensuring your time data remains accurate even during network hiccups.
