How to Use the Kentico (CMS & DXP) MCP in Cursor
Inject live CMS data into your code using the Kentico (CMS & DXP) MCP Server inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Kentico (CMS & DXP) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Kentico (CMS & DXP) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch live document context in Cursor
Stop hardcoding values or relying on outdated mocks. Use `get_site_document` to pull real content into your editor while you write code. Cursor reads the live response, allowing the AI to generate logic that matches your actual Kentico (CMS & DXP) structure.
Query custom tables for build logic
Run `list_custom_table_rows` to feed your development process with actual database values. It is ideal for building components that depend on live CMS data. This ensures your code stays synced with your production environment requirements.
Manage Kentico objects via Cursor agent
The AI agent can invoke `create_system_object` or `update_system_object` to help you scaffold new features. It writes the code and then verifies the object creation. This MCP Server approach bridges the gap between your IDE and your CMS backend.
