Read and write records in Windsurf
Cascade can pull data from your apps using `list_records` and `get_record` to provide context for your coding tasks. It parses the JSON output so you don't have to manually hunt for record IDs. When you need to log progress or save results, Cascade uses `add_records` or `update_records` to push data back into your workspace. It handles the API calls so you stay focused on the logic.
Discover app structure with Windsurf
Use `list_apps` to see what is available in your environment without leaving your editor. Cascade maps out your workspace, showing you exactly which apps are ready for integration. Once you pick an app, `get_app_fields` gives you the schema details. This helps you write better code because you know the exact field names and types you are working with.
Manage spaces through Windsurf
Keep track of your team collaboration spaces by running `get_space_details`. Cascade retrieves metadata about your space, letting you see who is involved and what threads are active. If you need to clean up your data, you can trigger `delete_records` through the agent. It executes the removal safely based on the queries you provide, keeping your Kintone apps tidy.
