How to Use the Klaviyo MCP in Cursor
Generate working code for the Klaviyo API right in Cursor. Stop mocking data and start building with live profiles and events.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Klaviyo MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Klaviyo to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Functions with Live Klaviyo Data
Tell Cursor's agent to write a function that interacts with Klaviyo. For example, "Write a Node.js function to add a user to a list." The agent won't just generate boilerplate; it can use `get_profile` or `list_marketing_lists` to fetch real IDs and inject them into the code. This gets rid of guesswork. You're building with actual data from your Klaviyo account, not placeholders. The generated code for `create_profile` or `track_event` will have the right structure and properties from the start.
Test Klaviyo Workflows from Your Editor
You don't have to leave your IDE to test an automation. Use the agent to fire off a test event with `track_event` and then immediately ask it to check if the user was added to the right segment with `list_segments`. This tightens your development loop. You can build a feature, test the corresponding Klaviyo integration, and check the results in seconds. See how your code impacts real `list_profiles` without switching to a browser.
Your Klaviyo MCP Server for Code Generation
This isn't just about fetching data; it's about writing the code that fetches the data. Ask the agent, "Show me how to get all campaign stats." It will use `list_campaigns` and `list_metrics` to understand the data structure and generate a script that correctly parses the response. It's like having a senior dev who already knows the Klaviyo API. Your agent can map out complex interactions, like checking `list_automated_flows` and then pulling the associated `list_email_templates`, generating the code for you along the way.
