Generate code using live issue specifications in Cursor
The `get_issue` tool pulls complete ticket descriptions and requirements straight into your active editing session. Your Cursor agent reads the exact bug report or feature spec to write matching code. Instead of copying text from a browser, you feed the raw ticket data to the editor. It's that simple—the agent uses `list_labels` to match your code changes with current workflow tags.
Create and track tickets during active coding sessions
The `create_issue` tool registers new bugs on your board the moment your tests fail in the terminal. You define the team ID, priority, and description without switching windows. To keep your team updated, `create_comment` posts terminal logs or code snippets directly to the ticket. Cursor handles these updates in the background, keeping your focus on the codebase.
Scan team backlogs to plan your next commit
The `list_issues` tool retrieves active tickets assigned to your team so you can choose your next task. You filter by team ID to see what needs attention before writing a single line of code. This MCP Server lets your editor query `list_teams` to find the correct project scope. You know exactly where your code fits in the broader release cycle.
